Call Routing Facilities on 08 Numbers

These facilities can be added to most 08 numbers provided by Sovereign Telecom.

1. Voice to Email

This operates a bit like a very clever answering machine. If there is no reply after an agreed time such as 20 seconds, or if the number is busy, a message can be taken after a personal greeting and that message sent to an email address as a sound file (.wav file) which can be played on a computer. SMS messages can be sent to your mobile phone to advise you that a message is waiting for you.

2. Whisper Service

This very useful service makes a very short announcement to you (the caller does not hear anything but the ringing tone) to say that the call is about a particular subject. This gives the the opportunity to change how you answer the call. This faclity is useful where you are receiving business and personal calls on the same line. Multiple 08 numbers and whisper services can be delivered to the same telephone landline number.

3. Call Queuing

This facility is particularly useful where many calls are likely to be received at the same time. Calls can be queued with suitable announcements and delivered in arrival sequence or delivered with high priority numbers first.

4. Call Recording

This facility enables you to record a telephone conversation and at the end of the call the audio file is emailed to you. This can be turned on and off during a call.

5. Fax To Email

This service means you no longer need a fax machine to receive faxes. Use an 08 number with fax to email and incoming faxes will be converted into .pdf files and emailed to you immediately after the call.

6. Time of Day Routing

This facilities means you can receive calls where you wish depending on the time of day and day of the week. For example one number delivering calls to the office from 9 to 5 on Monday through Friday and to home at other times - but after 22:00 through to 07:30 to an automated messaging service.
